Will they stay in place while surfing? Yes. The high-waisted cut and supportive wide waistband help keep them secure during paddling, duck dives, and active swim days.
DESIGNED TO STAY PUT
With over 25 years of throwing ourselves into the ocean throughout Australasia, the Pacific and Indian Oceans; over fast & sucky reefs, punchy beachies and rocky pointbreaks, we've done our time discovering what works and what doesn't when it comes to functional and comfortable surfwear.
The Salt Gypsy Betty Bottom 2.0 surf & swim shorts feature our signature super high-waisted fit, scalloped side hem, and full bottom coverage for a flattering, stay-put silhouette in every surf condition.
Double-lined for comfort with a retro contrast bind, these bottoms are functional, stylish, and built for oceanwomen of different shapes and sizes.
Our Swim is Made from Recycled Materials
Since 2016, we have chosen to source and use ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn in our surf garments. Why? ECONYL® uses synthetic waste such as industrial plastic, waste fabric, and fishing nets from oceans, then recycles and regenerates them into a new nylon yarn that is exactly the same quality as virgin nylon.
As a small business, we are a constant work in progress doing the best we can with the resources available to us. While we research and sample alternative materials to nylon-based textiles, we will continue to only use recycled and regenerated yarns in our surf and swimwear.
