We’ve been fine-tuning this cut for 8+ years, and she’s never felt better. Double-lined for that secure, hugged-in feel, with a curved side hem that flatters your shape and fuller bottom coverage that actually covers (yep, we hear you).

Fit Advice
All stretch fabrics loosen slightly when wet so we recommend for your swim & surfwear to feel snug and firm when tried on dry, on land.
If inbetween sizes, size down for solid colours and consider sizing up for Vacay print fabric styles as this print runs slightly tighter.

With over 25 years of throwing ourselves into the ocean throughout Australasia, the Pacific and Indian Oceans; over fast & sucky reefs, punchy beachies and rocky pointbreaks, we've done our time discovering what works and what doesn't when it comes to functional and comfortable surfwear.
The fan favourite Betty Bottom features our signature super-high waistband and is considered a staple in any discerning oceanwoman's surf & swim wardrobe.
Our Swim is Made from Recycled Materials
Since 2016, we have chosen to source and use ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn in our surf garments. Why? ECONYL® uses synthetic waste such as industrial plastic, waste fabric, and fishing nets from oceans, then recycles and regenerates them into a new nylon yarn that is exactly the same quality as virgin nylon.
As a small business, we are a constant work in progress doing the best we can with the resources available to us. While we research and sample alternative materials to nylon-based textiles, we will continue to only use recycled and regenerated yarns in our surf and swimwear.
